Canadian label based in Toronto and started in 1950. I won't talk about the whole label stuff, Discogs is your friend. Here we care about the few releases as QRFC.

The First one, Karen Silver QRFC 001 in 1981 until the last one, probably in 1983. About 25 twelve Inch were released during this time, and about 5 Lp, sometimes very hard to find for the best. One of the best Boogie Label, no doubt about it, here's few 12 Inch of mine.

The Records are all black, except for Empire Projecting Penny, white. The label are most part of the time green, but the promo copy are brown and white, here's a better exemple. And before you leave, vote on top left of the blog!

After a brilliant 70's decade and few hits behind them, the Tavares Brothers released Loveline in 1981, On Capitol Records. Few Tracks are written by Kashif, one of the Boogie Master, Brenda Russell and Al Jarreau. For the credits, let's notice Nathan East at the bass and Paul Jackson Jr at the Guitar. Here's a selection of three tracks for you, I didn't put Keep on... Loveline, monster Boogie, Better love , killer chorus and House of Music, a copy past of she's a groovy freak by Real Thing but a nice Gospel break. ENjoy!

One of a Disco Soul Masterpiece. The band surprisingly released only one album; A mystery, compared to the quality of this opus. Eddie Willis at the Guitar, George Roundtree on Keyboards, Roderick Chandler and Rudy Robinson composed this band. They recorded this album at "the Sound Suite" in Detroit.

Produced by Johnny Allen and Michael Stokes, who definitely is a man of good taste, let's go listen to one of my favorite album ever. If you have to choose just one track, pick up Free, a masterpiece! Enjoy!

A killer album to me. Len Ron Hanks and Zane Grey released 2 Lp in their career, You fooled Me in 78 and Prime Time Three years later, we gonna check the last one here as well.

Before their solo career, they wrote Back In Love Again for L.T.D, No Limit for Breakwater and also for Lenny Williams, Debra Laws and Millie Jackson to name a few.

Backing Vocals are done by Lorraine Johnson, and Ramhlee wrote for this album. The Two hits are Dancin' and You fooled me, But let's discover 2 others tracks Way Out to Get In and Gotta Put Something In, Both Killer Chorus, Enjoy!

While Checking the Most expensive Rap Records list on Discog, I noticed the land Of hits Sticker, one of my favorite. Mistafide - Equidity Funk was sold for 4700$ this year, but all the Peter Brown Production are expensive, but this one beats records. You can find this track on a Cd called Equidity Funk : Hard to Find Gems from the vault of P&P Records.

So Enjoy more than 11 minutes of hip hop, far too long for me, but the instrumental is efficient. Happy Holidays, Enjoy!

I think Teddy Pendergrass sang the song first, but Lorraine Johnson also released this title in 77, More Disco, On Prelude records.

Hot Shot reached the # 1 place on dance Music/club Party Chart.

Only Album of Trilark, a must have for a real Boogie Lover, but 80's only. Produced by William Anderson and Ray Reid (who also works with Crown Heights Affair, mix the Gonna get Over You by France Joli and appears on classic like Unlimited Touch or Rocket. And don't forget the great team of handshake, who produced so many great records between 80 and 82.

Hard to get few years ago, easier now. Noticed that a reissue is availbale on Vinyl and Cd. There is a 12 Inch of trilark, Love Never Looked better, with an instrumental on the B Side, some kind of D Train beat.. Listen to the stuff now, Don't miss Face the Music, Tough! Enjoy
